View this post on Instagram While @shirahaas celebrated her first #Emmys at the restaurant Beit Kandinof with only a few people—Tel Aviv is currently under a second lockdown—the virtual night, as well as her look, was unforgettable. "It was kind of like love at first sight,” says Haas of her @chanelofficial couture dress. “There is something about this dress, like when you tell a story, or when you put a lot of small details into your work. I knew this [about the dress] even before I knew all of its details.” Haas is right about the intricate nature of the dress considering the piece took over 1,200 hours to create. And the math factor keeps getting bigger: The dress was composed of 20,000 elements, including beads, embroidery, and other embellishments. The skirt was a garden in itself, consisting of 2,000 embroidered flowers like wild roses and silk tulle petals, forget-me-nots in organza, and daisies in accordion-pleated silk chiffon. The skirt received a final hit of shine with 12,000 beads and rhinestones, while the black belt boasted 11,000 embroidered elements. Tap the link in our bio to see more.
